Let’s Be His.

“When our Lord faced either people with all the forces of evil in them, or people who were clean-living, moral, and upright, He paid no attention to the moral degradation of one, nor any attention to the moral attainment of the other. He looked at something we do not see, namely, the nature of man (see John 2:25)” -Oswald Chambers

“But Jesus, for His part, did not entrust Himself to them, because He knew all people [and understood the superficiality and fickleness of human nature], and He did not need anyone to testify concerning man [and human nature], for He Himself knew what was in man [in their hearts—in the very core of their being].” -John‬ ‭2:24-25‬ amp

Our accomplishments or lack of accomplishments really mean very little, if anything, when it comes to how God sees us. He is looking so much deeper, straight into our heart, and according to Jesus, it’s not a pretty place. God knows our hearts they are not Good, yet He loves us and provides a way to be born again with a new heredity, one no longer of Sin, but of Him, Love and Light.

God is inviting us to sit at His feet, to Be His… Jesus cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Rivers of living water will brim and spill out of the depths of anyone who believes in me this way…” John 7:37-38 (msg) Then from Him, from the fountain of Life, Living water will pour from Him and into and through us.

If we truly want to accomplish something, Let’s be His.
