I heard a story from a friend yesterday that reminded me of just how broken our world is, and as I thought about it all, I heard that still small voice, “Nothing, no circumstance changes My love for you. Keep your eyes on me.” God doesn’t even ask us to trust blindly, He sent Jesus so we could both see His character, know Him better – And – Make a way, via His Spirit, to Live connected to the Living God. What He asks of us is pretty simple: keep our eyes on Him; He will take care of the rest. 

I can’t promise an easy passage, but I can promise that He is enough. 

Jesus answered them, “Do you finally believe? In fact, you’re about to make a run for it—saving your own skins and abandoning me. But I’m not abandoned. The Father is with me. I’ve told you all this so that trusting me, you will be unshakable and assured, deeply at peace. In this godless world you will continue to experience difficulties. But take heart! I’ve conquered the world.” John‬ ‭16:31-33‬ (msg)
