What If?

Let’s imagine for just a moment what our world would look like if teachers taught because they loved children and learning and poured themselves out because that is how God designed them. What if doctors practiced medicine because they wanted to heal the hurt instead of for prestige. What if preachers preached from the love of God’s word instead of simply choosing an occupation. What if we did everything we did to serve each other instead of calculating what we can get out of it? What if? What if we trusted our Lord to provide for us as we served Him with everything in us – for His Glory. What if we truly learned to love? He didn’t love in order to get something from us but to give everything of himself to us. Love like that.
Lord, let your Way be our Way. Amen.
