Manifest Love.

This is a continuation from yesterday’s post, ‘The Great Triumph’. Leaving off from the point of our greatest victory over evil is allowing God to reign victorious in our hearts. (Luke 10:17-20)

So here’s the question: do we believe that if we manifest Jesus, Pure Love, it is great enough to conquer evil? Or do we need to manifest a little (or a lot of) fear, anxiety, worry, so that we can be in control and on top of the evil happening in the world?

Do we believe that the only way to truly cast out evil is to allow God to do it? That there is no way for us to defeat evil without God. The Archangel Michael, who went to the mat with the Devil as they fought over the body of Moses, wouldn’t have dared level him with a blasphemous curse, but simply said, “No you don’t. God will take care of you!” -Jude 1:9

When we let the Holy Spirit in, so that we become One with God, we share a Spirit with the One who has already defeated evil. Manifested Love conquers evil, casting out fear. Perfect Love casts out fear. Or we can say it this way, there is no fear in His Love. Fear cannot defeat Love. It is the power of His Love that changes our beings, our homes, our communities, and our world. Can we say boldly, Lord, I trust You. I see Who You are and You are perfectly Good. Lord I give my life to you. I trust in you my God. Do not let me be disgraced or let my enemies rejoice in my defeat. Psalm 65  (Lord, Help my unbelief!) No matter what happens, I will not give evil (fear) a foothold! I will not fear because of Your Love. It is from this place of surrender Love is able to reign victorious. And when Love reigns victorious in our heart, He has yet another temple in which to reach out from on this earth. We become His Living and Breathing Church. It is God’s Spirit, Love, and Will that conquer.

Moment by moment. Abide in Him moment by moment. Allow His Spirit to keep you present in Him in this moment.

Now God has us where He wants us, with all the time in this world and the next to shower grace and kindness upon us in Christ Jesus. -Ephesians 1:7

Don’t run from His Love. Stand in it. Receive It. Bask In it. Live in It. Love in it. Be His!

Taste and see that the Lord is Good. Oh the joys of those who take refuge in Him! -Psalm 34:8
