Jesus Wept.

“You don’t have to wait for the End. I am, right now, Resurrection and Life… Do you believe this?” John 11:25-26

Their response was “Yes”… A large majority of our responses would be “Yes”, but what do our actions say? Do we live in the fullness of God’s Glory right now because we know He has beat death, that He is Sovereign and Good – so, so Good that the only way we will ever begin to understand this Goodness is by a trust fall into It, experiencing His Goodness and Love.

Jesus walked this earth and lived this Love for all to see… and yet looking the Godhead in the eyes still was not enough for our hardened hearts to believe… and “Jesus wept.” -John 11:35

It seems I finally understand at least a sliver as to why Jesus wept. I know my broken love for my children, and through the power of the Holy Spirit, my love for my fellow man – His love for my fellow man. I can’t even take credit for any True Love, as “every good and perfect gift is from above.” -James 1:17 But! Through the power of His Divine Spirit in me, I begin to see both His Love, and the means we will go to to avoid it, to fall into it, to trust, and allow ourselves to experience His Goodness… and I weep.

However, I do not lose hope, because I know from where He brought me, and I look forward to where He is taking me. He is a God of miracles – “and the same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from His Glorious Riches which have been given to us through Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:19

He turns mourning to dancing.
