Keep Your Eyes on Jesus.

Abraham did it by keeping his eye on an unseen city with real, eternal foundations—the City designed and built by God. -Hebrews‬ ‭11:10‬ (msg)

They saw it way off in the distance, waved their greeting, and accepted the fact that they were transients in this world. People who live this way make it plain that they are looking for their true home. -Hebrews‬ ‭11:14-15‬ (msg)

Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls! -Hebrews‬ ‭12:2-3‬ ‭MSG‬‬

Andrew Murray said it like this: “And yet, if it be true that God alone is goodness and joy and love; if it be true that our highest blessedness is in having as much of God as we can; if it be true that Christ has redeemed us wholly for God, and made a life of continual abiding in His presence possible, nothing less ought to satisfy than to be ever breathing this blessed atmosphere, I wait on Thee. My soul, wait thou only on God!”

It is a blessed day to be His.
