One day, each one of us will realize that Home, everything we have ever needed and so so so much more, is found sitting at the feet of Jesus. Some of us will collapse there from exhaustion or desperation – some of us will sit there waiting and wanting to be His – some of us will flee there for protection –  or maybe a combination of these – but no matter how we get there, once we are there, we will know we are Home. The world, as we know it, will be drained of power and we will be able to see more fully (and more fully with each passing day) our Lord and all that He is, completing us and making us whole. 

2 Thessalonians 1:2 Our God gives you everything you need, makes you everything you’re to be.

However, knowing this Truth in our heads is a far cry from living it body and soul. Why won’t we surrender and simply sit at His feet? He is the way Home. Why do we insist on taking the long way, our way? 

What will it take for you and me to fall to our knees, to sit at His feet?  This surrender is the culmination of all that we do here! Sitting at the feet of Jesus is victory! How wonderfully simple and pure and beautiful.

Bobby decided, as a family, we are going to try to share one song a week on our site. This week we are sharing, “What a Day That Will Be.” It was one of Dave’s favorite songs and since he went Home this past week, we are sharing it as a little tribute to him.
