Home Sweet Home.
That’s plain enough, isn’t it? You’re no longer wandering exiles. This kingdom of faith is now your home country. You’re no longer strangers or outsiders. You belong here, with as much right to the name Christian as anyone. God is building a home. He’s using us all—irrespective of how we got here—in what he is building. He used the apostles and prophets for the foundation. Now he’s using you, fitting you in brick by brick, stone by stone, with Christ Jesus as the cornerstone that holds all the parts together. We see it taking shape day after day—a holy temple built by God, all of us built into it, a temple in which God is quite at home. -Ephesians 2:19-22 msg
The invisible Kingdom of Faith. The invisible moving the visible… John 3:5
God is building a home. A place He will reside… and this place is inside of us. An infinite number of intricately designed pieces – loved and woven together to create a Home… The Home.
This is incredible. And what does He ask of us? That we let Him use us.
The church, you see, is not peripheral to the world; the world is peripheral to the church. The church is Christ’s body, in which he speaks and acts, but which he fills everything with his presence. -Ephesians 1:23 (msg)
Let us Live as if we believe this! Let us live in the Kingdom of Faith; Let us let Him bring us Home as we draw nigh to Him – changing our focus from the peripheral to the Eternal. Home Sweet Home.
