Get Creative.

Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that. Don’t be impressed with yourself. Don’t compare yourself with others. Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life. -Galatians‬ ‭6:4-5‬ (msg)

Almighty and everlasting Freedom. To focus our existence, our entire being on Him, and sink into the Work He created us to complete… undistracted by the world and the Sin of not believing that He is Perfectly and Eternally Enough. What a Day! No more looking over our shoulder or measuring our own value, but sinking into Him… our Work. Oswald Chambers, in my opinion, knocked it out of the park with this summary:

“Where sin and sorrow stops, and the song of the saint starts. Do I really want to get there? I can right now. The questions that truly matter in life are remarkably few, and they are all answered by these words –– ‘Come to Me.’ Our Lord’s words are not, ‘Do this, or do that,’ but –– ‘Come to Me.’ If I will simply come to Jesus, my real life will be brought into harmony with my real desires. I will actually cease from sin, and will find the song of the Lord beginning in my life…”

How are you going to sink into Him today? We have permission to be creative in how we do this – the point is, THAT we do this.

But the one who plants in response to God, letting God’s Spirit do the growth work in him, harvests a crop of real life, eternal life. -Galatians 6:8 (msg)
