I don’t even know where to begin to try to articulate the depth of peace this verse brings my soul. (You already have all you need. 1 Corinthians 4:8)

For who do you know that really knows you, knows your heart? And even if they did, is there anything they would discover in you that you could take credit for? Isn’t everything you have and everything you are sheer gifts from God? So what’s the point of all this comparing and competing? You already have all you need. You already have more access to God than you can handle. God is in and around us every moment for all time. Don’t let the worries of this world drown out the gift of Eternal Life – full and complete and now! Don’t let the enemy steal this moment. We have more access to God (to Life) than we can handle… We can live and obey and love and believe right in this very moment. We can be made complete in this very moment by choosing Him or we can go on wishing for the things that will never satisfy, allowing the enemy to steal yet another moment. The choice truly is ours.
