“Here he is, God’s Passover Lamb! He forgives the sins of the world!” – John 1:29

“He Forgives the sins of the world!” -John 1:29  What if the word forgive wasn’t limited to our broken idea of, “no worries, I’m fine with what you are doing” – but what if it really was so much bigger and more perfect and complete. When I stop and think about what forgiveness really means to me (a limited being) I think, reconciliation, repentance, newness in relationship… Can you imagine how much more complete God’s definition is! What if forgiveness was purely light and good – with no allotment for any darkness… darkness meaning being ok with anything that wasn’t Good. Instead! Forgiveness being that God will show us the way back home, (reconciliation, newness, repentance). He came to Forgive (reconcile, make new, bring to repentance) the entire world! What if He truly is perfectly complete! And Faith being trust in His Perfect Goodness!
