Perhaps you are asking, “What does this even mean?” I want to share what this means to me.

We have been given a great gift. Jesus paid a huge debt for our sin, reconciling us with a Perfect, Pure God. A God with absolutely no evil in Him at all, pure Love. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we have been made new and we can be One with a Living God again… just as it was to be in the beginning. So now, we are free to be His. We are free to focus fully on God. We are free from every single worry, fear, regret, doubt, and evil because God is enough. Because our eyes are on Him and not this world. Because we trust His ways and not the world’s. 

You may ask, “How is this possible, every fear?” We may have thoughts of doubt, fear, etc, but we don’t have to stay there. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, He will assure us of who He is… through His very own Spirit. We can turn back to Him instead of staying and living in a place of fear. If you lack Spirit, if fear is creeping in, simply ask for more of Him! (See post from yesterday, More Jesus Please.)

I pray today we offer ourselves up to God, looking toward Him, and Live Free, trusting His Love. Amen.
