I can’t even count the number of times in my life where I chose what was good over what was Best, thinking the entire time that I was achieving some noble act. But then, I am reminded that being Jesus’ is truly the only noble act that any of us can ever truly achieve… and the whole truth is without this One act of surrender, nothing we do will ever truly be Good, Big ‘G’ Good. The type of Good that brings Life and Life Abundant to both us and those around us. 

Praise God for not letting us settle, for offering us a way back to Him through Christ, to all that is Good and Perfect and Pure and Beautiful. Amen.
