Divine Sweetness.
I have two scriptures that are burning in me to share with you this morning.
Romans 9:11 (msg) What God did in this case made it perfectly plain that his purpose is not a hit-or-miss thing dependent on what we do or don’t do, but a sure thing determined by his decision, flowing steadily from his initiative.
Can we all take a moment and rest in this truth? Breathe in His Sovereign Purity and Goodness that is flowing steadily from His Glory and then! let go of control. Savor the divine sweetness!
Can it last? I’m glad you asked! 🙂
Romans 12:1-2 (msg) So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.
I am here today to testify that when we fix our attention on God, He will absolutely and without a doubt change us from the inside out. It is a miracle that only God can perform – bringing the dead back to Life.
There is something so much more divine, where God is God and we are not.
