At the heart of the Bible, at the heart of everything I have learned about God through the life of Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit, I have come to recognize that God is enough. It is this faith that set Abraham, Enoch, Noah, David, Gideon, Paul, all the heroes of the old and New Testament, apart. They lived their lives in this one truth, God was and is enough. He is complete – no matter what is happening in this world, God is enough. I can’t say or hear this too much. He is Life and Jesus came to bring us back to Life from death – and He showed us how – we use our free will to die to self so that we may enter into His Glory, free from sin. It is a beautiful and affirming freedom when you take that deep breath and let yourself be His… and then do it again and again… releasing a little further each time – until we melt into Him.
