Our bible verse this week at school is Romans 8:28 : And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. (Español: Romanos 8:28 Y sabemos que Dios hace que todas las cosas cooperen para el bien de quienes lo aman y son llamados según el propósito que él tiene para ellos.)

I am reminded that I don’t have to understand everything; I can trust He WILL make everything work together for the good of those who love Him.

This is a very freeing truth. We aren’t asked to solve every injustice; we are asked to Love Him, to rest and remain in Him. I truly believe our lives would be so much simpler and more fruitful if we spent our energy clinging to the Lord instead of solving the world’s problems. We can be part of His plan, but only if we remain in Him. “For apart from Him we can bear no fruit.” -John 15:5

If we really want to help those around us, remain in Him – then “He will work all things together for the good of those that love Him.”

Amen.

We have been having such a fun time on Saturday evenings, worship, music, message, scripture, snacks, and games. – Such a joy to share life and celebrate our Savior with friends and neighbors. Everyone is always welcome – it is not necessary that you bring your own snack – we share and would love share life with you as well.
