Thanksgiving is such a blessed holiday. A day to bask and give thanks, with no other agenda or expectation. A day to just be His. I pray for the faith and trust to rest in Him everyday.

Hebrews 11:3 says: By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.

This is a blessed place to rest. It brings to my mind the difference between living a life where we are striving to right every wrong with our personal agendas verse simply being present with Him, the God who formed the universe… and allowing Him to right the wrongs. Perhaps He will use us in a certain situation and perhaps He won’t – but that is not the point. Keeping our eyes on Him, trusting Him, living confidently in the Creator… that is the point. And a blessed existence.

We have a God who is good. I am so thankful.
