Let Him be Enough.
The instructions of the Lord are perfect, reviving the soul. The decrees of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. Psalm 19:7
Let Him be enough. Wherever you are at today, in this moment, let Him be enough. Take a moment and be content in this moment, with whatever you have, whether it’s a lot or a little. If you are with family, friends, enemies, or alone. Stop planning, fighting, toiling, worrying, fearing – “The Lord will fight for you, you need only to be still.” -Exodus 14:14
It’s one of the hardest things he asks us to do… trust Him. He will fulfill His promise within us, not because we are good and did something right but because He is good and perfect and full of love for us. And not only will He fulfill it in us – He will fulfill His purpose for this world.
If we want to serve Him, there is no shortcut – we must become an outpouring of Him, nothing else compares. In order to pour Him out, we must first fill up. So be still and know that He is God. Know Him. Trust Him. Listen and let Him be enough.
Psalm 23:1 – The Lord is my Shepherd, I have all that I need… it is the most beautiful place to be.
