Just a reminder we will be ice skating every Tuesday – dismissing at about 11:50. It is from 12:30 to 2:30 at the ice arena in Watertown. Please check the site for updates. I will let you know here if something changes.

Also – we are going to start a small amount of homework each evening: 30 minutes is all I ask. Here is the scoop:

Each student must read for 20 minutes and then write 2 complete sentences about what they read. These sentences are to be correct and neat. The older they are, the more robust I want their sentences to be – including adjectives, compound/complex sentences etc. For K-1 – they can read a Dick and Jane story or from the Giant Leap or Big Step – and then write 2 simple sentences. Capital letter/period/noun/verb. Parents, please check these and initial. I would also like them to run through their math facts a couple times just to practice. Please do this over the weekend as well. Thanks and let me know if you have any questions!
