Tonight I simply want to tell you that God loves you… so much. I love celebrating Him in so many different ways, including lights and music and quiet reflection. 

1 John 5:11-15 God gave us eternal life; the life is in his Son. So, whoever has the Son, has life; whoever rejects the Son, rejects life. My purpose in writing is simply this: that you who believe in God’s Son will know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you have eternal life, the reality and not the illusion. And how bold and free we become in his presence, freely asking according to his will, sure that he’s listening. And if we’re confident that he’s listening, we know that what we’ve asked for is as good as ours. 

I don’t want to diminish these verses by trying to explain what ‘his will’ is so I will simply say that I have found that every verse in scripture is pointing us back to a relationship with our beautiful Creator- and it’s through Jesus this is possible. If we want to know His Will, know Him! Merry Christmas!
