All.

Philippians 1:21 Alive, I’m Christ’s messenger; dead, I’m his prize. Life versus even more life! I can’t lose.

As long as I’m alive in this body, there is good work for me to do. If I had to choose right now, I hardly know which I’d choose. Hard choice! The desire to break camp here and be with Christ is powerful. Some days I can think of nothing better. But most days, because of what you are going through, I am sure that it’s better for me to stick it out here.

One can hardly argue that a life free from fear – specifically free from the fear of death because a God who considers us ALL equal and loves us beyond anything we can possibly imagine is in control, is a bad thing.

How has fear and our selfishness perverted something so beautiful. Maybe it’s because some don’t believe — but to that I say, for over 2000 years people have tried to disprove the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It has not been done. But those who seek truth, even in wanting to disprove Jesus, find the Truth that Jesus came to this earth to defeat death and show us our loving Creator and Father. So it seems our fall is a matter of heart more than mind.

I’m not trying to convince you of anything – I can’t anyway… matters of the heart can only be rectified by the maker of the heart. But that won’t stop me from reassuring those whose heart has turned to Him – that as the world screams in the language of chaos and doubt and hate, there is a better way. Stay strong in Who you know is true. He holds all the answers and love – and it is poured out to ALL His Creation – no matter race, gender, job title, past mistakes – Nothing in all creation can separate us from the love of God that is poured out to us in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38) He loves us ALL!
